Warranty Terms & Conditions for the Gradient All-Weather 120V™ Window Heat Pump

Limited Warranty

  • This limited warranty is valid only in the Continental United States and only for the All-Weather 120V window heat pump.
  • To be eligible, the unit must be purchased from Gradient or a Gradient authorized reseller.
  • This warranty covers the original purchaser and any subsequent owners of the property where this unit is originally installed. The warranty does not transfer if the unit is removed from the original install location and installed elsewhere or sold separately from the property. For the avoidance of doubt, “original install location” means the building or housing development where the unit was first installed.

What Is Covered & For How Long?

Gradient proudly warrants this product against any failure due to defects in materials or manufacturing under normal use and maintenance. The warranty period shall commence on the earlier of (i) the date of installation of the product, or (ii) ninety (90) days following the date of shipment. Here's how we take care of you:

  • ONE YEAR PARTS AND LABOR LIMITED WARRANTY: During the first year after purchase, Gradient will provide, through our authorized technician, free repair or replacement of any parts that fail due to defects in materials or manufacturing. This includes both parts and labor.
  • FOUR YEARS ADDITIONAL PARTS LIMITED WARRANTY

    From year 2-5, Gradient will provide replacement of any parts that fail due to defects in materials or manufacturing.

Making A Warranty Claim

  1. Click here to submit a warranty claim. Be prepared to provide a summary of the issue requiring a warranty claim, proof of ownership of your Gradient system, and serial number of the product.
  2. Prior to returning any product or parts, you must obtain a return authorization number from Gradient Customer Support.
  3. If applicable, Gradient will dispatch an authorized technician to perform the appropriate diagnosis and/or repair or replacement. 

Limitations & Restrictions 

Restrictions to warranty coverage include but are not limited to the following: 

  • Warranty protection only covers failures due to materials or manufacturing defects.
  • Regular maintenance is required to ensure warranty coverage. Deferred or improper maintenance contrary to the manufacturer’s instructions provided in the maintenance guide may void the warranty.
  • Accident, abuse, misuse of the product will void the warranty.
  • Failure of the unit due to acts of God, natural disasters, power failures, interruptions, brownouts, or power spikes are not included in the limited warranty.
  • The warranty term is not extended if your product is repaired or replaced  under warranty. Only the remainder of the original warranty term will apply.
